Maha Sarpa Yagnam

Serpents are agents of healing and transformation. According to astrology, one’s past karma, present karma, and karma committed by the ancestors cause the displeasure of the Naga deities. Sarpa Dosha/Naga Dosha, which is experienced by almost everyone, is the affliction caused by this curse. If planets are interposed between Rahu and Ketu in the horoscope, it depicts Kalasarpa dosha.
Sarpa Dosha causes problems and challenges in married life. Misunderstandings cause other problems within family relationships. Lack of peace, anxiety, agitation, lack of confidence, health problems, short life expectancy, scarcity of wealth and prosperity, problems in career and business, and rivalry among friends and family members are some of the negative effects of Sarpa dosha.
Bhramhashree Ambotti Thampuran, who is adept at sarpa tantra and who has dedicated his life to the betterment of humanity, strives to get rid of such evils or curses affecting mankind. On his initiative, Saindhava Prathishtanam is planning to conduct the first-ever Maha Sarpa Yagnam, in Palakkad on the 22nd and 23rd of September, 2024. The Yagna is being conducted over two consecutive days – On the first day, the Ashtanagas are worshipped as a whole with Sankalpa and pooja for the Ashtanagas and Ashtanagahomam. The purpose is to free the individuals from all evils and evil forces by invoking the eight Nagas. On the second day, Mahasarpabali is performed to remove the general Sarpa/Naga doshas by performing Saparivara pooja to the serpent deities following the traditional serpent rituals.
